GC21 Edition 2 Terms and conditions of the contract are based on the experience and success of the Edition 1 project, which have placed a very effective emphasis on cooperation contracts and improved communication between the parties. Edition 2 focuses on streamlining, updating and improving contract expiry to reflect experience and practice. The requirement for contractors to use the DE GC21 subcontract was removed in Edition 2 and replaced with a short list of binding requirements to give the contractor and subcontractors some flexibility in their trade agreements.
